We have been learning the song 'When I grow up' from Matilda the musical! We have thought about our hopes and dreams for our futures as we prepare to leave year two!
Our Assembly about Remembrance Day
As part of our assembly this week we have been learning this song. We love singing and dancing in reception and hope you enjoy it.
During our PE lessons this half term we have been learning some Welsh country dances.
Year 5&6 rehearsed weekly to create and perform a tense and exciting extract of Macbeth. To be continued....🙀
We have been learning the song from Matilda and thinking about what we want to do when we are grown up!
A video to help pupils understand the routine of our new school day. We really hope this helps and allows pupils and parents to feel a little more at ease. There will be lots and smiles and lots of fun- we are really excited to welcome all pupils back to Ewloe Green!!
See how to complete all of the solo sports day challenges and watch how some of the teachers got on - can you beat their scores?! Good luck!
A quick breakdown of the moves to help you prepare for your big ‘Opening Day Ceremony’ dance! We would love for all the family to get involved and to see how you get on. Apologies for the intrusions from my ‘little helper’ - I have no idea why he is carrying a notebook like a handbag but the children and parents in reception are used to his appearances in my videos! Watch and practice as much as you like before having a go at the dance along video.
Have a go at performing your ‘opening day ceremony’ dance - the song is ‘Rain on Me’ by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Feel free to let your class teacher know how you get on!
There is a picture quiz for pupils to have a go at, or just watch and laugh, but a pencil and paper may be needed- and you may need to pause the pictures to see them for longer. Hope you enjoy.
Hope you have a lovely Easter. We are all missing you! Stay home and stay safe.
it is very important to keep smiling through difficult times, so the teachers and staff at Ewloe Green have been completing little challenges at home or at school. These are designed to help keep up morale and allow everyone to keep in touch. You could even have a go at some and email them to your teacher so they can see you. Hope you enjoy.
Thank you to all who participated, for your lovely messages and for putting a smile on our faces!
Apologies for Mr Williams’ shoddy camera work :-)
